What Is QuickPlace?

Lotus QuickPlace is the self-service Web tool for team collaboration. QuickPlace enables the creation of a shared team workspace on the Web. Teams use QuickPlace to organize and communicate ideas, content and tasks around any project or ad-hoc initiative.

CLN QuickPlace Tips:

  • Try the "hide responses" item at the bottom of each folder's list to get a summary of the main posts. Then click on the same link to "show responses" to see the complete response threads
  • If you want to see what has been posted to the QP recently, click the "News: Daily" or "News: Weekly" items at the top right of the screen and you will get a summary of recent posts. Click "Update now" once you are in the summary to get the up-to-the-minute activity summary.
  • Try the "check out" button at the top of a page you wish to edit. This will allow you to create a private saved version of the document, and present any other user from editing the document while you are updating it.

Instructions for Entering the CLN Quickplace

  1. Click here to link to the CLN Quickplace.
  2. You will be prompted for a login and password. Follow the instructions you have received by email, or contact .
  3. Once you are logged in, proceed to the security link on the sidebar, select the "new password" button at the bottom of the screen, and create your personal password
  4. Now, explore the QuickPlace, "speak" in the dialog with your comments on our collaborative space, and plan your next visit, soon!
