What Is the Purpose of the Collaborative Learning Network_

  • To build cross-functional lateral networks across organizations

  • To increase collaborative capability through boundary-spanning skills™ and collaboration tools, processes, and knowledge

  • To create collaborative learning activities between member organizations

  • To enhance knowledge creation, dissemination, and utilization within and across member organizations

Goals 1999 - 2000 for the Collaborative Learning Network

  • Increase participation in the Network by three additional organizations
  • Support opportunities for benchmarking visits as well as informational individual visits between companies
  • Convene one or two workshops that include practice with dialog
  • Launch and promote online Members Dialog using web conferencing software
  • Promote and enable circulation of relevant information between organizations and from individual to individual
  • Facilitate the formation of learning groups around topics of interest to members
